Nawaz Sharif's personal physician Dr Adnan tortured in London

LONDON – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif's personal physician Dr Adnan got injured  after being attacked in London today (Tuesday).


According to media reports, Dr Adnan was attacked by some unknown persons when he was going out for the daily evening walk. Two men wearing masks attacked him from behind, punched him on the floor and used a metal bar toThe injured doctor sustained injuries on head, face and chest and was shifted to a hospital.
Dr Adnan was already receiving threats on phone for many weeks. The victim handed over all evidences to the police.
A Sharif family spokesman confirmed the assault on Dr Adnan, saying, “The cowardly attack on Dr Adnan is condemnable.
Police confirmed they had received a complaint of assault.
PML-N leaders Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and Ahsan Iqbal have also condemned the attack.

British heartthrob Daniel Radcliffe made a startling remark about his iconic on-screen portrayal of Harry Potter that earned him fame and glory.  The 30-year-old  What If  star admitted that it was because of the classic Harry Potter series that he turned into an alcoholic. Afghan President Ashraf Ghani issues decree to release 5,000 Taliban prisoners

WASHINGTON -  Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani has issued a decree to release up to 5,000 Taliban prisoners starting Saturday from a list provided by the Taliban. The decision was taken in the light of the agreement signed between the Taliban and the US to end the years of deadly war in Afghanistan that has claimed thousands of lives.  In response to the release of the prisoners, the Taliban will also free 1,000 inmates held by them. The development was announced by US Special Representative [Zalmay Khalilzad] on his Twitter handle.  He further wrote, "I urge the two sides to sit down immediately for talks on this issue in Doha, Qatar to work out the details.
